By the pricking of my thumbs...

There once was a girl...
Oh yeah and there was a guy too.
She was way beyond his league,
Alas that's the truth.
She was a junior while he was a senior
She was the pretty one, who flunked around,
While he was the "Weird looking, torn jeans wearing, who still does better in studies than his studious counterparts" guy.
And with so much dissimilarity, he still went ahead and fell in love with her.
His friends would tease him while she were around
His mind would tease him while she weren’t around
But that guy was a fool
He never told her so
But that guy was a fool
He never let her know
But that guy was a fool
For that guy was me
And till this date, she doesn’t have a clue.

I thought of this yesterday night while trying to fall asleep. I intentionally wrote it a little bland. I still remember how I felt and could have been more true about myself, but I didn't feel like it. It would sound too mushy; exactly the stuff I don't like to read.

Is the poem about the past? As in way too back?

If not, you sooo have to tell her, come on, the max she'll do is stop talking to you. And i dont want that cliche "I dont want her to hate me".

It's okay if she does, she doesn't love you anyways, or maybe she does and she is waiting for you to make the move?

I believe you should never regret not doing anything in your life, specially when it connected to the matters of the heart. I have learnt the hard way.
