I have heard that people of science are boring and dull.
But that's not always true.
Take the case of Richard Feynman for example, he was renowned for his ability to come up with answers to the trickiest of problems.
His colleague gave the following algorithm, that he thought Feynman used in his problem solving.
Start
1)Write down the problem on a sheet of paper.
2)Think really hard.
3)Write down the answer.
End
